Expert assessment of data

AusSpec believes that to make the most of your spectrometer and spectral data you need all the tools at hand to optimise the information gained.  AusSpec provides essential services to ensure clients can move forward quickly with skills to process data correctly and optimally.

To unlock the potential in your data sets, AusSpec provides these services either at our offices or on site.

  • On site reviewing of spectral data: AusSpec routinely makes on-site visits  to review spectral analysis activities and provide expert assistance on how to optimise the information gained from your spectrometer. It is the aim of such visits to provide important skills to enable the client to operate independently. These visits can be combined with a Training Workshop.

  • Orientation Surveys (pilot studies): These initial studies are aimed at assessing how appropriate spectral analysis is to your project area. They involve detailed analysis of spectral data and explore relationships between these and other data sets  (eg. Geochemistry, Alteration mapping, Geophysics) that can then be used for ongoing work.
